You’ve seen recycling bins sitting on the driveway of your neighbor, on the sidewalk of a busy street, and in the back room of your office building, but why is recycling so important? What else can be recycled that you don’t normally think of?

Carbon is everywhere right? Of course! It’s in the air, in our food, and in the products that we buy. From a green perspective, it’s not carbon by itself that is a concern to our environment. The concern is surrounding the emission of carbon dioxide from daily tasks such as driving to work, processing foods, generating trash and waste, the list goes on! So what’s the best way to combat our combat our emissions?

If you asked us what’s new here at STG Solar we could point you towards new trucks on the field and new farms being built, but what’s especially new and exciting about this week?

We’re moving to a new office and we have a brand new website! 

Our main office location will be moving from 3528 Hendersonville Highway to 37 Grove Bridge Road. Only a few minutes away from our previous location, we are staying in our beloved Pisgah Forest town limits! 

Utility scale solar farms are one of the best ways to produce a large quantity of renewable energy. These farms generally span for hundreds of acres and can produce several megawatts. (For scale, 1 MW is enough energy to power 100 homes. So, a 70 MW solar farm can produce enough energy to power 7,000 homes!) Compared to the traditional ways of using limited fossil fuels to produce energy, solar power is an unlimited resource.
